This is Wait, Roll That Again! A Podcasts Hosted by Alex Marinkovich-Josey about designing Tabletop Roleplaying Games like Dungeons and Dragons, Blades in the Dark, Lancer, and many, many more.

Except we’re not really talking about those games. Instead we’re actually designing a new game from the ground up. We’re gonna talk to some of the designers behind the games we all play around the table, and learn about all the different aspects of game design.

Who’s Alex?

That’s me! I’m a podcaster and aspiring game designer from Aotearoa (that’s New Zealand). I’ve been playing tabletop games since I was 14, and making podcasts for just as long, and I’ve always wanted to put pen to paper and try make a game for myself.

What is Kiwi RPG?

Kēmu Whakatau O Aotearoa (KiwiRPG) is a collective formed by Tableop creatives in Aotearoa (New Zealand). It’s a network of tabletop streamers, YouTubers, designers, and podcasters (that’s me!) who want to celebrate what we bring to the TTRPG scene.

Every year, these creatives are celebrated with an event called KiwiRPG Week! You can find the work of these talented people under the hashtag #KiwiRPG, and on their website.
